Hervey Bay offers more than just Whale Watching and Fraser Island. We also have some excellent SCUBA diving to offer you, on one of the largest artificial reefs in the Southern Hemisphere. This reef is made up of barges once used for sand mining and timber transport from Fraser Island and have been submerged for over 30 years. Other additions have been made recently in the form of concrete pipes etc. The reef now houses over 100 species of marine life and provides an excellent experience for divers. This really is some of the easiest and best wreck diving you can do in Southeast Queensland.

Freedom III is in partnership with Gone Diving Hervey Bay, offering diving trips as well as SCUBA diver certification. You can find out more information on diving and courses via the Gone Diving Website - http://www.gonedivingherveybay.com.au/ or by calling Matt on 1300 383 193.
